    This is Mohammed Alafifi, the international relations officer in the University College of Applied Sciences-Palestine.

    We are very interested to cooperate with the universities of Poland in their next Tempus projects. We are mainly interested in applying for international relations and quality assurance projects, but we are open to participate in other projects that can serve both institutions.

    Our institution, TEI Piraeus plans to submit a Joint multi-country proposal to the 3rd call of Tempus Programme under the “Governance” theme. We call this project PORCUPINE for short title of “Post Graduate Research Curricula in Primary International Environment”

    Up to this moment Institutions within EU, (Greece, Romania, England) and form partner countries of Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt haw expressed interest to participate in this project.

    The duration of PORCUPINE project is expected to reach the maximum allowed of 36 months and its goals are:

    1. Elaborate International Strategy Development Plan for partner Countries

    2. Training of Faculties and Administrative Staff on Bologna requirements

    We are planning to develop an SCM project in the field of quality improvement in Uzbek higher education institutions. The proposing title is “Benchmarking the quality issues of Uzbek Higher Education, and developing the state educational standards”. The initial project description and objectives are given in attached file.

    We are looking for potential partner institutions from EU countries.

    We are open for any comments or ideas to develop the proposal.
